I love summer drinks, especially those that involve beer. My favorite is the Raddler at Hopworks Urban Brewery, which is their take on the popular Shandy drink. Half HUB Organic Lager and half in-house lemonade.
I recently found a recipe for Ginger Shandies. This recipe mixes together sweet and gingery flavors for a light, refreshing summer drink.
Here are the ingredients you need:
- 3 11.2-ounce bottles of Hoegaarden (I’ll try this with HUB Organic Lager)
- 1 12-ounce bottle of ginger beer (I’m a big fan of Cock n Bull Ginger Beer)
- 1 thinly sliced lemon
- mint sprigs
Instructions:
In a large pitcher, combine the Hoegaarden (err HUB Organic Lager) with the ginger beer. Stir in most of the lemon slices and mint sprigs. Fill six glasses with ice. Add remaining lemon slices and pour in the shandy. Garnish each drink with mint sprig and serve!
What is your favorite shandy?
